Expert`s attitude towards question of fees charged by banks for acceptance of 500 euro banknotes

July 10, Fineko/abc.az. The fact that banks charge a commission fee of 1% for a 500 euro banknote without any economic justification means only additional costs for the bank client.

Expert economist Vugar Bayramli  says that despite discussions about the reduction of banking costs, many of our banks are still focused on their increase.

"Indeed, when determining such costs, the intervention of the Central Bank and the Financial Market Supervision Authority within the framework of the current legislation is mandatory," Bayramli said.
