October 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's self-sufficiency in raw materials for sugar production has reached 50.5%.

According to the State Statistics Committee, this indicator has been growing in recent years and exceeded 50% in 2025.

The level of self-sufficiency in raw materials for sugar production was 14.6% in 2020, 5.5% in 2021, 39.5% in 2022, 43.2% in 2023, 46.2% in 2024 and 50.5% in 2025.

The level of self-sufficiency in sugar itself was 69.4% in 2020, 100.7% in 2021, 103.9% in 2022, 84.4% in 2023, 93% in 2024 and 101.9% in 2025.
