October 1, Fineko/abc.az. A range of innovations have been introduced in order to further improve the online ticket purchase process on the Baku-Tbilisi–Baku route, as well as to prevent possible cases of abuse.

Thus, passengers registered on the Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) website and in the ADY Mobile application must verify their personal account data using myGov ID. This step is aimed at protecting the interests of passengers and making online ticket purchases more reliable. After the owners of the personal accounts enter the FIN code in the appropriate section, all the necessary data will be displayed. Citizens of foreign countries must indicate in the appropriate section the name of the country of which they are citizens and the phone number of that country. After confirming the phone number using the OTP code sent via SMS, the passenger can change his personal data.
