He also admitted the possibility of resuming airstrikes in the country after the midterm elections in November.

Trump also commented on the state of American ammunition stocks. He acknowledged that the volume of certain types of weapons had decreased and announced the conclusion of new agreements with defense companies to replenish stocks.

A separate topic of the interview was energy policy. Trump said that the U.S. intends to start replenishing the Strategic Oil Reserve in the near future. According to Trump, a significant amount of oil was previously withdrawn from the storage facilities.

In 2026, the U.S. has already used strategic reserves to stabilize the energy market. The reserve volume dropped below 284 million barrels, which was the lowest value since 1982.
