October 1, Fineko/abc.az. Huawei has presented new Mate 90 smartphone series, which replaced the Mate 80 line, released in November 2025. Older models, including the Mate 90 Pro Max, received the Kirin 9050 Pro processor.

The processor uses Huawei-developed LogicFolding technology. It provides for a three-dimensional organization of the internal connections of the chip instead of the traditional two-dimensional structure. According to the company, this approach allows increasing the density of components and increase the speed of data processing. At that, production requires more semiconductor wafers.
