October 1, Fineko/abc.az. Shaffra, an artificial intelligence company from the UAE, has opened a regional headquarters in Azerbaijan and entered the market of the Caspian region.

This is company's first expansion outside the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The Azerbaijani office will become a platform for Shaffra to enter other markets in the region.

In the new market, the company offers AI-based software solutions to enterprises and government agencies to automate customer service, sales, and project management.

After working in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Shaffra chose Azerbaijan as the starting market in the region. Its programs, integrated with internal systems, can be deployed both on the local infrastructure and in the cloud environment.

Founded in 2023, the company has attracted more than $10 million in investments, including from stc and Omantel. Shaffra plans to expand its activities in the region through the regional center in Azerbaijan.
