September 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Investment Holding and the Chinese Silk Road Fund are creating a joint investment fund.

The total capital of the Fund will amount to 7.5 billion Chinese yuan (approx. $1 billion).

The Fund will finance investment projects in Azerbaijan, as well as in other participating countries of the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative. It will create a framework for joint consideration of investment opportunities between AIH and SRF and financing of promising projects. The new mechanism will open up additional opportunities for expanding investment cooperation and attracting long-term capital to various projects.
