September 28, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of August 2026, a drop on transfers made both to and outside the country through fast money transfer systems was recorded in Azerbaijan.

According to Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s official data, in August 2026, the banks received 133.1 million manats through rapid money transfer systems with 221,200 transactions.

This figure is 115.5 million manats or 46.5% less than in July. For comparison, in July, the country received 277.4 million manats with 248,600 transactions. There was also observed decline against Jan-Aug 2025.
