September 28, Fineko/abc.az. Along with decline on the number of credit cards, there is a drop in the overall volume of transactions with these cards.

In the first 8 months of 2026, credit card turnover amounted to 5.497 billion manats (991 million manats or 15.3% less against Jan-Aug 2025).

Although the number of transactions grew by 7.6% in August and exceeded 14 million, the total turnover in monetary terms decreased by 2.6% to 720 million manats, which means that cardholders spend less on a transaction.
