September 25, Fineko/abc.az. Nouriel Roubini, CEO and Managing Partner of Roubini Macro Associates, economist and strategist, said during the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum that the world is in the midst of one of the largest technological transformations in human history - development of artificial intelligence (AI) and future technologies.

Roubini noted that this process creates powerful positive impetus for the global economy and concerns not only the U.S. and China.

He pointed out that a number of countries produce equipment for AI, as well as provide supplies of raw materials, minerals and energy necessary for the investment boom in this area.

The economist stressed that this effect from development of AI and its potential in the future can offset the negative impact of tariffs and other costs, providing the global economy with greater stability and the ability to withstand external shocks.
