September 22, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev chaired a state meeting dedicated to the State Program for the Development of Mining and Metallurgy Industries.

The Head of State emphasized that the new program covering 2027–2030 must be fully executed within 4 years, serving as a key driver for regional socio-economic development.

President Aliyev highlighted that Azerbaijan has secured strong reserve generation capacity in electricity. Amid growing global concerns and deficits regarding energy resources and natural gas, the country aims to significantly expand its electricity exports in the coming years.
