September 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Turkey are moving beyond cooperation in the field of oil and gas, strengthening the integration of electric power systems.

Turkish Minister of Energy & Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar stated this at the V Azerbaijani-Turkish Energy Forum.

According to Bayraktar, two countries’ relations are based on brotherhood and mutual trust and are considered as a strategic partnership shaping a common future based on the principle of "one people, two states".

The cooperation covers a wide range of areas, from oil and gas to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electric power. At that, the global energy sector, as the minister noted, is undergoing transformation, increasingly focusing on electricity.
