October 30, Fineko/abc.az. According to CBA governor Taleh Kazimov, employees will be able to receive salaries through any bank card they want, without any fees.

Commenting on this innovation, banking expert Ekrem Hasanov noted that forcing employees to serve in certain banks is contrary to the law. Starting from April 2027, citizens will be able to choose their own bank through e-applications.

The innovation will allow citizens to choose a bank with more favorable tariffs and quality of service, as well as prevent cases of funds being written off from salaries to repay loan debt without a court decision.

In general, according to the expert, this decision will contribute to the weakening of the monopoly in the banking sector, the development of small and medium-sized banks, increased competition and even lower interest rates on loans. He also stressed the importance of extending this procedure to pension payments in the future.
