Expenses on ACG block increased by 22.5% - 1st half results unveiled

September 8, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, overall expenses on oil & gas block Azeri–Chirag–Guneshli (ACG) increased by 22.5% year-on-year and reached $1.1 bn.

Operating expenses grew by 3.5% up to $268 million and capital expenditures by 31.4% up to $733 million.

Amid rising costs, average daily production from the field totaled 323,000 barrels, and the total production volume - 59 million barrels (8 million tons) of oil.

At the same time, daily production decreased slightly by 1.2%, but total production remained stable against Jan-Jun 2025.
