July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani announced during a press conference that the country has lost approximately 230 million cubic meters of daily natural gas production capacity following military strikes involving the US and Israel.

Mohajerani noted that severe damage to gas processing facilities and energy infrastructure significantly reduced fuel delivery to power plants and refineries. Consequently, authorities called on the public to conserve energy, while clarifying that fuel prices remain unchanged under current regulations.

Additionally, Mohajerani revealed that Bushehr Airport was rendered virtually non-operational, over 350 government employees lost their lives during the attacks, and infrastructure damage included 12 bridges and 2 tunnels. Reconstruction efforts have successfully reopened the damaged tunnels and set up alternative detour routes for affected bridges.
