21:37 - 23.07.2026

July 23, Fineko/abc.az. French energy major TotalEnergies reported a 9% year-over-year increase in liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales volume for the first half of 2026, reaching 23.1 million metric tons compared to 21.2 million metric tons in the same period of 2025.

However, second-quarter sales volume stood at 10.7 million metric tons, marking a 13% drop compared to the first quarter.

Despite higher sales volumes, TotalEnergies' LNG revenues fell by 9% in the first half of the year to $2.125 billion. In the second quarter, revenues dropped by 22% year-over-year to $807 million—a 39% decline compared to the previous quarter—reflecting lower realized gas prices.
