July 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, Rashad al-Alimi, announced the resumption of oil exports, which had been suspended since the end of 2022 due to the Houthis' attacks on the oil infrastructure.

In his televised address, the Head of State noted that the government would use all available means to restore the supply of raw materials, and the revenues received would be used to pay salaries to civil servants, support the State Budget, and ensure economic stability.

Al-Alimi emphasized that the current crisis is a direct consequence of the Houthis' actions, and called on the people and armed forces to unite in order to regain control over state institutions.
