June 12, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Friday’s trading and ended the week in the red.

As of 09:30, on the ICE Futures exchange, the price of August’s Brent crude futures decreased by $1.84 (2.04%) to $88.54 per barrel. Following the trading on June 11, the contract fell by $2.72 (2.92%) to $90.38 per barrel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), July’s WTI crude futures fell by $1.65 (1.88%) to $86.06 per barrel by 09:30. Following the trading session on June 11, the contract value dropped by $2.32 (2.58%) to $87.71 per barrel.

Both oil grades have fallen by nearly 5% this week.

The price of Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri Light grew by $0.49 (0.51%) up to $96.85 per barrel.
