June 8, Fineko/abc.az. Global oil prices are showing steady in growth in Monday’s trading after last week’s positive trend.
As of 09:13 on Baku time, the price of August’s futures for Brent crude oil rose by $4.27 (4.59%) up to $97.36 per barrel at the ICE Futures exchange. Following the trading on June 5, the contract fell by $1.94 (2.04%), closing at around $93.09 per barrel.
At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), July’s futures for WTI crude oil grew by $3.96 (4.37%) up to $94.50 per barrel by 09:13. Following the previous session, the contract value declined by $2.50 (2.69%) to $90.54 per barrel.
The price of Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri Light decreased by $1.13 (1.28%) on June 5 and reached $99.48 per barrel.
Last week, crude oil Brent increased by 2.16%, WTI by 3.64%, and Azeri Light by 1.5%.
