June 5, Fineko/abc.az. Foreigners and stateless persons who visited Azerbaijan for Jan-Apr 2026 spent a total of 696.67 million manats in the country.
ABC.AZ informs that according to official statistics, the figure is 22.9% less against Jan-Apr 2025.
Transportation services accounted for the largest share in the cost structure. Thus, for Jan-Apr tourists spent 317.87 million manats on transport (24.1% less than a year earlier).
Expenses for accommodation services decreased by 32.5% to 126.142 million manats.
Tourists spent 131.491 million manats on food (19.3% less than a year ago).
At the same time, expenses incurred in the field of culture declined by 18.7% to 3.969 million manats.
Over Jan-Apr 2026, 322,000 manats were spent on the purchase of a tourist package. Compared with JanApr 2025, these expenses decreased by 20%.
