May 26, Fineko/abc.az. The International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB) is exploring the prospects of bringing its proprietary mortgage model to the Uzbek market.

ABC.AZ reports that ABB Deputy Chairman of the Board Elmir Habibullayev said this during the business panel "Investments in the Caspian Region".

"Specifically for Sea Breeze, we developed a unique mortgage program that essentially has no analogues - it is a truly interesting system. As a rule, many beautiful ideas are born, but not every one of them comes to fruition.

I can note that in the Sea Breeze residential complex, over two thousand people became owners of apartments and houses thanks precisely to the mortgage program that we created jointly. The entire bank, all of the management takes pride in these products - to such an extent that we are even exploring options for exporting them beyond the country. I believe many of those present are already aware that the International Bank of Azerbaijan is preparing an expansion into the Uzbek market.

SeaBreeze also has development programs in that country. I look forward to further productive cooperation in the Uzbekistan market," Habibullayev emphasized.
