October 28, Fineko/abc.az. Google DeepMind, the AI research arm of Alphabet, has officially launched Genie 4, a cutting-edge world-building AI model capable of generating real-time interactive virtual environments from text prompts.

Operating without pre-coded scenes, Genie 4 dynamically renders virtual environments frame-by-frame as users navigate through them. The model allows real-time modifications—such as changing weather conditions or camera angles—and automatically generates photorealistic visuals, background audio, and interactive dialogue. Working in tandem with Google's Gemini models, which act as a "director" planning and overseeing frames, Genie 4 is targeted for commercial applications across gaming, immersive learning, and robotics.
