May 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 4.766 million tons of crude oil for $2.53 bn to Italy for Jan-Apr 2026, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee.

The volume of exported products increased by 8.6% and the cost by 3.4% against the 2025 same term.

The share of crude oil exported to Italy in overall oil exports was 60.15%.

According to customs declarations for Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan exported 7.923 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks for $4.365 bn.

Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $17.403 bn, including exports for $11.879 bn and imports for $5.525 bn.
