May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Starting at 00:00 on May 25, Azerbaijani citizens and citizens of all foreign countries eligible for visa-free entry to Azerbaijan are allowed to enter and exit between Azerbaijan and Georgia by rail.

ABC.AZ informs that the relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

According to the resolution, the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Customs Committee, the State Border Service, the State Migration Service and Azerbaijan Railways CJSC must resolve the issues arising from this decision in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

The Cabinet Ministers also made appropriate amendments to Resolution "On additional measures in connection with the special quarantine regime" regarding the permission for passenger transportation by rail between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
