May 1, Fineko/abc.az. At the end of Q1 of 2026, the number of Azerbaijani citizens who are employees of bp declined by 3.2% or 76 people, amounting to 2,322 people.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to bp’s report, that this number also includes employees working on the basis of fixed-term contracts.

Since mid-2018, the national workforce made up 90% of bp’s qualified staff. As for the unskilled employees, they are 100% made up of local citizens.
