Jet fuel prices soar up to $195 because of crisis in Middle East

April 6, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of March, the price of jet fuel reached $195 per barrel, almost $100 higher than at the end of February.

ABC.AZ informs that limited stocks and dependence on imports make it difficult to access.

The International Energy Agency predicts a loss of twice as much oil in April, which will increase the shortage of aviation and diesel fuel. In Europe, Ryanair, Lufthansa and Scandinavian Airlines plan to reduce flights and increase ticket prices, in the U.S., United Airlines cancels off-peak and overnight flights.

The cause of the crisis was the war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran, which disrupted supply chains and caused oil prices to rise above $100 per barrel.
