April 1, Fineko/abc.az. Gazprom Export has appealed to the court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region to the company SEFE Marketing & Trading from Germany, the details of the subject of the proceedings were not disclosed.

ABC.AZ informs that SEFE is the former Gazprom sales structure, which was nationalized by Germany in November 2022 due to the threat of insolvency, including the management of the largest underground gas storage facility Reden.

Earlier, the termination of the SEFE contract with Yamal LNG was discussed without financial losses, for the supply of almost 3 million tons of LNG per year until 2040, with possible grounds for termination - EU sanctions and a directive on the abandonment of Russian energy resources. An early termination could threaten SEFE with losses of €10 billion.
