March 12, Fineko/abc.az. Along with the rapid introduction of innovations, cybersecurity and personal data protection issues are becoming increasingly relevant.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA deputy chair Togrul Aliyev stated about this at forum "Consumers in the modern digital world: e-commerce, digital services and security issues", held in Baku.

He noted that the sustainable development of the financial sector depends on reliable consumer protection.

To this end, it is needed to focus on the three main components of digital financial literacy.

According to Aliyev, first of all, it is important to develop digital banking skills: "This includes the rules for the correct and effective use of e-wallets and modern payment instruments. Thanks to strategic planning, which is the second most important area, citizens can analyze their expenses using digital tools and make more effective investment decisions. Finally, adoption of digital security rules, in particular, creation of strong passwords and study of ways to protect against cyber attacks such as phishing, are of particular importance from angle of consumer personal data security."
