February 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published report "Statistical Bulletin-2026".

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the CBA report, that 68.3% of individual deposits (11.14 billion manats) are in national currency, 31.7% (5.164 bn manats) are in foreign currency.

64.2% (10.475 bn manats) of the savings portfolio of individuals are term deposits.

Term deposits of individuals increased by 1.6% or 159.9 million manats in January. In January 2026, the number of unique term depositors in the banking sector observed growth by 1.5% (2,939 depositors) and reached 197,100 people.

Demand deposits of legal entities amounted to 15.115 bn manats (73.7% of the overall deposit portfolio of legal entities.
