Gold price on Comex exceeds $5,200 per ounce first time since end of January

February 24, Fineko/abc.az. The price of April’s gold futures at the Comex exchange (a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange) rose above $5,200 per troy ounce for the first time since January 30, 2026.

ABC.AZ reports that this follows from the data of the trading platform.

As of 03:00 Baku time, the price of precious metals increased by 1.33% up to $5,251.06 per troy ounce.

By 05:30, the price of gold slowed down to $5,186.12 per ounce (+0.08%).
