February 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 25 years, the population of Azerbaijan has acquired net foreign currency for $17 billion.

ABC.AZ informs that CBA governor Taleh Kazimov stated this at a press conference. According to Kazimov, this amount can also be converted into manats, euros or pounds sterling.

"We can call it 'money under the pillow'. Our main goal is for these funds to flow into the real sector and be directed to the country's economy," he said.
