January 30, Fineko/abc.az. The World Bank (WB) is considering an investment financing project for a mechanism to detect and eliminate gas leaks in the Azerigaz gas distribution network of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the WB. The total cost of the project is $15 million.

Its approval by the WB Board of Directors is scheduled for April 23, 2026. The project will cover the entire territory of the country, while the involvement of financial mediators is not provided.
