November 21, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to allocate an additional 1.129 bn manats for projects implemented in industrial zones in the regions of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev stated this at a plenary session of the parliament during the discussion of amendments to the Tax Code and 16 laws included in the budget package for 2026.

According to Aliyev, 290 million manats of credit funds were allocated through the Business Development Fund for 10 months of this year: "66% of those funds, that is, approx. 193 million manats, were sent to the regions of the country, with the exception of Baku and the Absheron Economic Region. Speech is about 5,800 regional projects. In other words, we’ve allocated finances to more than 5,000 projects in the regions. The total cost of those projects is 655 million manats."

The deputy minister stressed that, with the exception of the Sumgayit and Balakhani industrial parks, 80 million manats were invested in industrial zones in the regions.
