November 13, Fineko/abc.az. Visa has announced the launch of a pilot project that will allow businesses and platforms to send payments directly to recipients' stablecoin wallets, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Visa.

It is noted that enterprises that use international transfer platform Visa Direct can finance payments in fiat currency, and they can be received in stablecoins backed by the US dollar, such as USDC.

This project makes global payments even more accessible and expands Visa Direct's capabilities for creators, freelancers and marketplaces, providing them with a means of accumulation and faster access to funds even in countries with currency volatility or limited banking infrastructure.

According to a new study, "Monetized: Visa 2025 Creator Economy Report", fast access to funds is the main factor that digital creators choose to use electronic payment methods. 57% of respondents consider instant access to money to be the main advantage of digital payments for content creation.
