October 28, Fineko/abc.az. The total liabilities of the non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs) in Azerbaijan amounted to 543.4 million manats as of October 1, 2025, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
NBCOs’ overall liabilities increased by 63.5 million manats, or 13.2%, versus Jan-Sept 2024, by 6.5 million manats, or 1.2%, compared to the end of last year, and by 30.9 million manats, or 6.0%, compared to the last quarter.
The main share of increase in liabilities accounted for borrowed funds. The volume of these funds reached 279.1 million manats. The figure is 76.7 million manats (37.9%) more year-on-year, 38.1 million manats (15.8%) more than at the beginning of the year and 25.8 million manats (10.2%) more than in the previous quarter. As part of these funds, bank loans increased by 74.5 million manats (54.3%) over the year and reached 211.6 million manats.
On the contrary, the funds of the central government bodies were completely reset, and other liabilities increased by 14 million manats (6.6%) year-on-year, but decreased by 4.9 million manats (2.3%) compared to the beginning of the year.
As of July 1, 2025, the overall liabilities of the NBCOs amounted to 512.5 million manats, at the end of last year - 536.9 million manats, and as of July 1, 2024 - 479.9 million manats.
