Since 2024, Azerbaijan has supplied 300 million cu m of gas to Serbia

October 24, Fineko/abc.az. Since January 2024, Azerbaijan has exported approx. 300 million cu m of natural gas to Serbia.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Ministry of Finance, that Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said this in Belgrade at the IX meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade & Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia.

According to the minister, cooperation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), EPS and Srbijagas on the construction of a 500 MW combined gas turbine power plant in the city of Nis will bring the energy partnership of the parties to a new level.

Babayev noted that strengthening transport and logistics ties is a priority for both countries. He drew attention to the fact that new initiatives such as transport corridors and the Green Energy Corridor, announced within the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process and promising great prospects for the region, open up wide opportunities for cooperation.
