October 22, Fineko/abc.az. The current account balance forecast for 2025 predicts a slight increase.

ABC.AZ informs that Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s governor Taleh Kazimov made this statement at a press conference on the parameters of the interest rate corridor.

He added that the CBA forecasts GDP surplus of $3.7 bn by the end of this year.

"As for 2026, we expect the surplus of the current account balance to be the same as the forecast we presented in July of this year. That is, we predict that in 2026 the current account surplus will be $3 bn," Kazimov emphasized.
