October 21, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Sept 2025, Georgia purchased natural gas for $153 million from Azerbaijan (5% less versus the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Office of National Statistics of Georgia.

In September alone, Georgia bought blue fuel for $13.3 million from Azerbaijan (14% more than a year ago).

Over the past 9 months, Georgia purchased natural gas from foreign countries for $297 million (8% more than a year earlier).

Natural gas worth $143.51 million was supplied to Georgia from Russia, $185,300 from China, $135,400 from Iran and $28,000 from Belarus.
