October 13, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey topped the ranking of destinations in terms of price increases for a tourist trip over the past four years: starting in August 2021, a vacation trip to this country has increased in price by 218%.

ABC.AZ informs that in August, a trip departing from Russia cost an average of 88,000 rubles. Of this amount, transportation costs made up about 28%.

The cost increase was influenced by five main factors: transportation costs, price dynamics in Turkey, dollar exchange rate, changes in supply parameters, including a reduction in the number of the most affordable destinations, as well as an increase in travel agency surcharges.

By the end of 2024, Turkey remains the leader in the total volume of foreign trips among Russians.
