October 9, Fineko/abc.az. There are already 18 payment organizations and 2 operators operating in our country.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA first deputy chairman Vusal Khalilov said this during his speech at the Baku Fintech Forum.

He expressed confidence that the functionality of these organizations will increase.

"The sector is developing very fast. As for the payment sector, monthly turnover of the card has reached 10 billion manats. This is already proof that the country has switched to cashless payment. Innovative solutions are also continuing. We believe there are great opportunities for development of the fintech sector now. Our goal is to create platforms. These platforms can seriously affect the further availability and development of fintech," Khalilov said.
