October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from next year, Islamic banking products will be presented to the financial market of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that the director of the CBA Department of Sustainable Development of the Financial Sector, Rustam Takhirov, stated this at the II Azerbaijan Halal Business Forum (AZHAB) in Baku.

He added that the CBA has adopted a phased and pragmatic strategy based on international experience: "According to this strategy, at the initial stage, Islamic banking products will be presented within the framework of traditional banks through the Islamic Window model. This will create conditions for testing market demand, familiarizing participants with products and introducing a wider range of products and solutions in the future."
