September 29, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2025, 249.861 million manats of premiums were gathered in Azerbaijan due to mandatory types of insurance (6.3% more versus Jan-Aug 2024), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the CBA.

The amount of payments by types of compulsory insurance for the past 8 months totaled 92.675 million manats (8.4% more than a year ago).

Thus, for the first 8 months, up to 37.1 manats of premiums were paid for every 100 manats collected from the compulsory insurance market. A year ago, this figure was 36.4 manats.

For Jan-Aug 2025, 1.48 bn manats of premiums were collected through 16 insurance companies in Azerbaijan (12.9% more versus Jan-Aug 2024).

The amount of payments made by insurance companies for the reported term reached 603.414 million manats (21.1% more than a year ago).

For the past 8 months, 57.6 manats out of every 100 manats of premiums gathered at the insurance market were paid (Jan-Aug 2024: 53.7 manats).
