September 29, Fineko/abc.az. The price of platinum futures for October 2025 delivery at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose above $1,600 per troy ounce for the first time since April 1, 2013.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the bidding data, that as of 06:30 on Baku time, the price of precious metals was $1,637.5 per troy ounce (+0.15%). By 08:00, the price of platinum accelerated its growth and was at the level of $1,638.5 per troy ounce (+0.21%).

Since the beginning of the year, the price of precious metals has increased by 78.74% and by 14.52% since the beginning of September.
