September 26, Fineko/abc.az. Russia's international reserves have reached record of $712.6 bn.
ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Bank of Russia, that in the period from September 12 to September 19, this figure grew by $7.5 bn (by 1.1%).
International or gold-currency reserves are highly liquid foreign assets held by the Central Bank and the Government of Russia. They consist of funds in foreign currency, special drawing rights, a reserve position in the International Monetary Fund, and monetary gold.
The last time Russia's international reserves reached a record was on July 25. At that time, the figure was $695.5 bn.
