September 26, Fineko/abc.az. Russia and Iran have signed a $25 bn agreement on the construction of the Hormoz nuclear power plant in the province of Hormozgan in the south of the republic, ABC.AZ reports with reference to news agency IRNA.

Nasser Mansour Shariflu, a representative of Iran Hormoz, and Dmitry Shiganov, a representative of Rosatom Energy Projects, participated in the signing of the agreement. It is noted that the power plant will occupy an area of 500 hectares. It will consist of four power units.
