September 19, Fineko/abc.az. Finance Minister Sahil Babayev gave relevant instructions to improve the quality and transparency of verification activities, create a mechanism for monitoring damage to the state budget, and strengthen the human resources capacity of the service.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Finance, that the minister raised this matter at the board meeting.

He noted the importance of control measures using a risk-based approach and analysis methods based on information obtained from information systems used in the Ministry's system.

Speaking about the work done to fulfill the tasks defined by the presidential decree "On additional measures to organize effective management of public finances," Babayev noted that the decree will ensure the application of innovative approaches in public finance management, expansion of digitalization, strengthening financial discipline and effective use of public funds.
