September 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jul 2025, the declared gas imports to Azerbaijan totaled 221.593 million cu m.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Committee on Statistics that the indicator is 2.1-fold versus the 2024 same term. The cost of imported gas reahed $33,982,440 (2.2-fold less against Jan-Jul 2024).

The share of gas from Turkmenistan from the specified volume totaled 200.35 million cu m for $30.5 million. Decrease in quantitative and monetary terms compared with Jan-Jul 2024 was 35.9%.

In addition, for the reported term, 21.24 million cu m of gas for $3.929 million were supplied from Russia. The drop in quantitative and monetary terms was 6.7-fold against Jan-Jul 2024.

In 2024, the declared gas imports in Azerbaijan totaled 546.819 million cu m (-4.3-fold versus 2023) for $86.988 million (-4.2-fold). Imports were carried out from Russia and Turkmenistan.
