September 15, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Aug 2025, Azerbaijan exported 125,203.71 tons of petroleum coke, according to customs declarations.

The cost of petroleum coke in this volume reached $38.337 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

This is, respectively, 20.2% less and 2.9-fold more than for Jan-Aug 2024.

For the past 8 months, the share of petroleum coke in country's overall exports made up 0.22%.

Over Jan-Aug of this year, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for totally $32.118 bn. Of the foreign trade turnover, $17.65 bn accounted for exports and $15.53 bn for imports. For Jan-Aug 2025, exports decreased by 6.4%, while imports grew by 17.9%.
