September 8, Fineko/abc.az. On September 8, 2025, the second interest payment on SOCAR’s “green” bonds was made, ABC.AZ reports, citing SOCAR Capital.

It was noted that as a result of the second interest payment, $3 million has already been transferred to the accounts of bondholders.

Since March 7 of this year, over 370 transactions totaling $16 million have been executed on the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) with SOCAR “green” bonds, marking the start of secondary market operations and generating significant activity in the domestic capital markets.

SOCAR bonds currently in circulation are traded on the BSE for approximately $81 million, with a total of 1,475 transactions completed, accounting for 53.5% of corporate bond deals on the exchange.

Since the first issuance of SOCAR bonds in 2016, SOCAR has paid a total of $47.875 million in interest to citizens and investors.
