August 29, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, out of 145 enterprises of the Karabakh economic region, 34 accounted for the Barda district.

According to ABC.AZ citing the State Statistics Committee, compared to 2023 the number of enterprises in Barda increased by 10%, and compared to 2020 – by 31%.

At the same time, 32 enterprises operated in the Aghdam district (39% more than a year ago, 2.7 times more over the past five years), 25 in the Fuzuli district (+32% and +92%), 18 in the Aghjabadi district (+13% and +38%), 16 in the Tartar district (-6% and twice as many), 6 in the Shusha district (+20% and tripled), 6 in the Khojavend district (+20% and doubled), 2 in the Khojaly district (doubled and doubled), 4 in the city of Khankendi (none in previous years), and 2 in the Aghdara district (none in previous years).

During the reporting period, 38 enterprises operated in the East Zangezur economic region (+52% and 2.9 times), of which 11 (+57% and +3.7 times) were in the Jabrayil district, 9 (+13% and +80%) in the Lachin district, 7 (+3.5% and 3.5 times) in the Gubadli district, 6 (+50% and 6 times) in the Kalbajar district, and 5 (+25% and 2.5 times) in the Zangilan district.
